Francisco Arbide

Franc is currently responsible for NextEra Infrastructure Solutions which provides street lighting, metering, energy services and fiber solutions to municipalities, public utilities and home builders; as well as regulated street lighting and back up generation offerings proffered by FPL.  Previously Franc was responsible for working with municipal governments to assist in converting their streetlights to LED.  In that role Franc reached agreements with over 100 municipalities throughout the state of Florida which led to the conversion of more than 200,000 streetlights.

Prior to joining FPLES in 2016, Franc spent 14-years at WhiteFence, an internet marketing business generating leads for utilities and home-based services, holding multiple roles including in-house counsel, VP of Sales, VP of Operations, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Franc negotiated agreements with large home utilities and real estate investment trusts, including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Reliant Energy, AIMCO, Equity Residential, Trammel Crow and Camden Property Trust.

Franc holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and a BBA in Finance from the University of Miami.

William Davidson

William Davidson is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for NextEra Infrastructure Solutions (NIS)  responsible for guiding the team through internal and external legal, regulatory, and executive oversight while coordinating cross-selling opportunities for all products. Prior to NIS, William worked in NextEra Energy Resources’ Business Development group where, in 2021 alone, he directed and coordinated internal project approvals for over $6 B of capital and 5 GW of wind, solar and battery capacity.  William joined NextEra Energy in 2014, working in Regulatory Affairs for Florida Power and Light Company (FP&L) where he led discovery, drafted testimony, and advised on compliance for a multitude of dockets and matters.

 

William holds a J.D., graduating from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, is licensed to practice in both Florida and New York, and worked as in-house counsel for the NYC Office of Emergency Management from 2009-2014.  William earned a B.A. in History from Williams College, where he played varsity lacrosse and currently serves as President for the Class of 2002’s 25th Reunion Committee.

Avin Sundar

Sundar has 12-years of experience as a subject matter expert on regulatory finance, rate making, project valuation and utility level M&A. He is responsible for developing pricing and deal structure for NCN and NextEra Energy Solutions’ Smart Lighting Program. His experience includes valuing regulated investments for impacts to rate payers, pricing PPAs as well as tariffs, utility M&A at FPL. Sundar holds a BA Business Administration, Finance from Florida Atlantic University.

Jerry Alanis

Alanis has worked for NEE since 1999, with roles in Engineering, Construction, Operations and Materials Management. From 1999 through 2013, he worked in the telecom industry, as one of the original 40 founding members of the FPL FiberNet telecom subsidiary of NEE and today he currently leads Network and Field Operations for NCN. He is Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) OpTIC certified in the Optical Telecommunications Installer program as an approved FBA trainer, is a Six Sigma Black Belt and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the Institute for Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), with strengths in analytics and process improvement. Alanis holds a BGS/BS from the University of Miami, with double majors in Engineering Management and Industrial and Systems Engineering.
